Look: David DeJulius Works Out For NBA Team Ahead of 2023 Draft

By Russ Heltman,

CINCINNATI — David DeJulius is getting some NBA interest from the Detroit Pistons.

The Bearcats leading offensive player over the past few years had a workout with Detroit.

He is not likely to get drafted by any team but should find a professional home somewhere whether it's in the G League or an international league.

DeJulius had his best season in college this past campaign, posting strong marks in field-goal percentage (44.1), three-point percentage (37.8), free-throw percentage (84.1), assists (163), and scoring (15.1 ppg). He also carried a nation-leading 16-plus-game streak of five-plus assists heading into the AAC Tournament

DDJ also owns the best single-season assist average by a UC guard since Steve Logan in 2002. He epitomized the hard work and effort that Wes Miller requires out of his players.
