A motorcyclist died in Clermont County after he was thrown from his bike and hit by a car early Sunday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

In a news release, troopers said Charles Bishop, 29, of Cincinnati, was going southbound on Ohio 133 when his Harley Davidson went off the left side of the road and overturned. It was at milepost 17 in Williamsburg Township.

He was thrown from the motorcycle and was unconscious on the edge of the roadway, then was then hit by a Tesla Model 3 driven by Quincy Talmadge, 21, of Westerville, the release said.

Bishop was pronounced dead at the scene. No one in the Tesla was injured, which included Talmadge and three passengers.

Troopers are investigating the crash.
