Pinging The Portal: UC Contacts Veteran ACC Guard

Cincinnati is keeping a close eye on the transfer portal.

CINCINNATI — A fresh entry into the transfer portal has reportedly heard from Cincinnati basketball .

Justin Byerly reports UC is in contact with Florida State transfer guard Caleb Mills (13 Pts, 3.4 Ast, 1.3 Stl).

Arkansas, Memphis, and South Carolina are also involved. Mills has one year of eligibility left after transferring from Houston to FSU in 2021. He was an All-AAC player in the 2019-20 season.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound guard would bring instant Power-Five credibility into a largely unproven 2023-24 UC backcourt .

He is On3's 45th-ranked transfer in this cycle.
