CINCINNATI — Cincinnati took the next step in its interest with TCU transfer center Eddie Lampkin. Jake Weingarten reports Wes Miller and the staff met with the center over Zoom on Wednesday.

"Cincinnati’s Wes Miller and staff just finished a zoom with TCU’s Eddie Lampkin," Weingarten tweeted. "Bearcats amongst those heavily involved with one of the top-ranked transfer bigs in the entire portal."

The junior averaged 6.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game this season before stepping away from the team due to a personal matter.

The 6-foot-11, 300-pound center has two years of eligibility left. He would be a nice complement to Viktor Lakhin as Cincinnati doesn't have a cemented 2023-24 backup behind the Russian.
