CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) - After more than 100 years in its old location, the new Madisonville branch of the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library opened its doors in a more accessible development.
The library’s Madisonville branch is leasing a nearly 9,000-square-foot space in the mixed-use Madamore development, right in the heart of downtown Madisonville. One of the aims of Madamore was to redevelop Madisonville’s downtown. With the Madisonville branch library opening, residents now have a state-of-the-art facility for checking out books, movies, studying and more.
“It afforded us the opportunity to create a next generation library,” Paula Brehm-Heeger, the branch’s executive director, told the Business Courier.
