Report: Bengals 'Have Had' Trade Conversations Surrounding Jonah Williams

The offensive tackle is entering his fifth-year option in 2023.

CINCINNATI — Ian Rapoport confirmed on Wednesday morning that the Bengals are entertaining trade calls for offensive tackle Jonah Williams.

"The Bengals have had trade conversations centered around LT Jonah Williams, sources say, as the interest heats up in the player who has 47 career starts," Rapoport tweeted. "Williams requested a trade following the signing of Orlando Brown, and Cincy has heard from several possible suitors."

Williams asked the team if he could explore a trade last week.

Cincinnati brought in Orlando Brown Jr. to be the entrenched left tackle moving forward. That prompted thinking that Williams would move to the right side (which he played at Alabama), but he is not keen on doing that in a contract season.
