Peter King: Bengals Should 'Take A Three' For Jonah Williams

Cincinnati's tackle wants a trade.

CINCINNATI — Peter King chimed in on the Jonah Williams trade request this week. He thinks Cincinnati should grant the trade without question if it can get a third-round pick.

"Grant it," King said about Williams's trade request. "Take a three for him."

Compensation terms from any team have not been reported yet.

There hasn't been much movement at all on the Williams front as Cincinnati continues attacking the offseason.

Ian Rapoport said a trade could happen soon last week, but the Bengals have never operated in haste to trade a player. Williams might just have to play right tackle after all of this if another team doesn't want to take on his fifth-year option and give up a good draft pick.

Regardless, Cincinnati is moving forward with Orlando Brown Jr. as the starting left tackle.
