Old Navy sets opening date for new Onondaga County store
Camillus, NY - The newest Old Navy store in Onondaga County is set to open Saturday morning. The national clothing retailer will open at 10 a.m. in the former Bed Bath & Beyond space in Fairmount Fair in Camillus. The store has 13,000 square feet of space to sell clothing and accessories for men, women and children.
Syracuse man stole his brother’s identity to avoid paying for child support, police say
East Syracuse, N.Y. — A Syracuse man was arrested for stealing his brother’s identity to avoid paying for child support, police said. DeWitt police arrested Jason E. Coffin, of Syracuse, on Monday after it was found he was using his brother’s identity, police said in a criminal complaint filed in East Syracuse court.
Eavesdropping, stalking among crimes in 269 new arrests added to syracuse.com police blotter
The Syracuse.com | The Post-Standard police blotter of arrests from police agencies around Central New York was updated today. The 269 arrests added this week have dates between March 19 and May 13, but most of the new arrests are from the last couple of weeks. Those charged were 18 to 89 years old.

Whitestown, N.Y. — A woman was airlifted to a Syracuse hospital Wednesday after an accident involving a historic battlefield, deputies said. At 8 p.m. near the Oriskany Battlefield in Whitestown, between Monument and Airport roads, two vehicles crashed, said Sgt. Thomas J. Pietruch, Jr., a spokesperson for the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.
