A serious two-car crash in Chicopee Wednesday night caused serious injuries, forcing police to use a tourniquet to stem blood loss from a victim.
The crash occurred at approximately 8 p.m., according to the State Police Association of Massachusetts.
At approximately 2000 hours State Police received reports of a two car crash on Rt. 391 in Chicopee resulting in serious injuries. Members assigned to a detail in the area were the first on scene and applied a tourniquet to the victim to stem blood loss.

The driver of the other vehicle involved was arrested and is facing OUI charge.
The incident is under investigation and more charges may be levied.
