CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police said they are still looking for the driver responsible for a hit and run on DuSable Lake Shore Drive early Wednesday morning.
The crash sent two people to the hospital, according to police.
Records showed that a southbound vehicle ran a red light on the 800 block of North DuSable Lake Shore Drive. It then hit another car that was trying to turn left with a green light.
After the crash, the southbound vehicle struck a concrete barrier and flipped over. The barrier then hit a third car.
Police said the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident exited the car and ran from the scene.
The conditions of the other drivers are not known
