CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - A vehicle belonging to a missing South Side woman has been found by police, with a body inside.

39-year-old Rena Baker lives in the Roseland community and was last seen Friday, according to Chicago police. She was driving her Hyundai Sonata. Baker’s brother told NBC-5 though she was last heard from Wednesday night. He knew something was wrong when she didn’t pick up her son from school on Thursday.

Yesterday, Baker’s car was found on 94th and LaSalle, and a body was inside. The Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet made a public identification.

The family and Chicago police are looking for answers.
