Grains mixed, Livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May was off 3.25 cents at $6.92 a bushel; May corn fell 3.75 cents at $6.38 a bushel; May oats was up 7.75 cents at $3.7625 a bushel; while May soybeans rose 10.50 cents at 14.34 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Apr. live cattle rose 1.90 cents at $1.6412 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle gained 2.57 cents at $1.9147 a pound; Apr. lean hogs rose 1.67 cents at $.7852 a pound.
