Tomorrow will be very similar despite a few rain showers. Monday it's going to be cooler, mostly cloudy, and even a few sprinkles possible with highs nearly 10 degrees below average. That cooler trend doesn't last long. Harrison woman tells police man was trying to kill her with corkscrew, box cutter
Police officers say they found blood throughout a Harrison apartment where a woman said a man was trying to kill her Monday night. Officers heard a woman crying and screaming when they arrived at the apartment in the 1200 block of Argonne Drive shortly after 8 p.m., according to a criminal complaint.
1 dead in Downtown shooting near UPMC Mercy
Pittsburgh Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place Downtown on Sunday morning. Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert for three shots fired at 11:15 a.m. in the area of Fifth Avenue and Vine Street near UPMC Mercy Hospital, where they found a man with a shotgun wound to the chest. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance, where he was pronounced dead a short time later, police said. They did not identify the man.
