Another early morning earthquake rocks Lake Almanor

LAKE ALMANOR, Calif. —
According to the United States Geological Survey, a 4.1 magnitude earthquake has been reported in Lake Almanor in Plumas County.

They say the epicenter was in Lake Almanor and the shaking could be felt in the surrounding Chester area at about 4:26 a.m. There was an aftershock about 10 minutes later at a magnitude of 2.7.
This is the second major earthquake in the area in the month of May.
So far there have been no reports of damage but this is a developing story and we'll keep this article updated as we learn more.
