Meadowlands Receives Victualler License, Announces Opening Day
Select Board largely positive on Town Meeting articles but split on MBTA Communities zoning. The Select Board met last night with all members in attendance. Meadowlands Ice Cream is under new ownership and missed its traditional St. Patrick’s Day opening because the site was undergoing renovations. Owners Derek Dore and Macauley Moscato of Amesbury purchased the shop in January for $350,000 and appeared seeking a new common victualler license due to change of ownership.

Burlington Fire rescues baby geese from storm drain
BURLINGTON, MASS. (WHDH) - The baby geese, or goslings, were rescued from a storm drain in Burlington by that town’s fire department. “Our department is committed to protecting the lives of our community members, no matter how small,” said Burlington Fire Chief Andrew Connerty. “This was a great save and I commend our department members for their dedication to service.”
