For the fourth year in a row, 100% of W.F. West High School’s graduating senior class has been accepted into college, the Chehalis School District announced Tuesday.

“Our partnership with Centralia College has created a great opportunity for graduating Bearcats,” Superintendent Dr. Christine Moloney said in a prepared statement, adding, “Preparing our students for post-secondary certification remains our goal.”

In total, 182 seniors are set to graduate Saturday, June 10 at Bearcat Stadium, according to the Chehalis School District.

“The mission of the district, in partnership with the community, is to meet the individual learning needs of students by providing a comprehensive student-centered educational program that inspires and prepares them to become responsible, contributing citizens. Graduation is the culmination of that effort, reflecting years of dedication by students and their families, teachers, administrators and peers who have helped them achieve their goals along the way,” the district said in a news release.

“We want to prepare all students for the journey ahead,” said Moloney. “We strive to ensure that every student finds success and is prepared for opportunities after graduation. Each of our graduating seniors have identified plans for their future. Graduates are choosing to attend college or university, earn credentials, or enter the military. Our hope is that each student will find joy, happiness, and success regardless of their pathway.”
