Kalama has no trouble against Oakville
Kalama scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Monday. Everything went their way against the Oakville Acorns as the Kalama Chinooks made off with a 26-4 victory. The result was nothing new for Kalama, who have now won three matches by eight runs or more so far this season.
Napavine baseball rained out, games against Wahkiakum pushed back
Mother Nature was about the only thing that stopped the Napavine High School baseball team on Wednesday afternoon. Seven runs in the first two innings put the Tigers comfortably ahead of Wahkiakum before heavy rain and hail dropped and halted the contest in the bottom of the fourth inning. It was postponed soon after and the game will be resumed on Thursday at Wahkiakum.
Tigers shoot well, but fall to Bobcats
The Centralia girls golf team lost a home match against Aberdeen on Tuesday, falling 77-61 at Riverside Golf Course. The Tigers, led by Emily Wilkerson’s 19 and Tess McMurry’s 18, did well, but Saylor Heikkila and Kaitlyn McCracken combined for 44 points to lead the Bobcats to the win.

Adna tops Winlock and Mary M. Knight at Riverside
The Adna golf teams took on Winlock and Mary M. Knight on Tuesday at Riverside Golf Course, and the Adna boys came away with a 203-235 victory.
