I’m beginning to wonder about the quality of any of our recent road and Bridge work it seems nothing last anymore. What has changed things didn’t used to crumble and deteriorate so quickly I worry about everyone’s general safety driving in Chattanooga and surrounding areas TDOT needs to put out some kind of statement to the public explaining why . Are bridges even safe I’m also concerned about what they have been doing on the Chickamauga Dam Bridge Is this possibly weakening the bridge could it cause weight bearing issues Are inspectors checking these things Are experienced inspectors even available or could it be like every other employer that has retired all older experience for a younger inexperienced college kid to make critical decisions?
