Board approves new stadium club for Finley Stadium

"Most significant reinvestment" in Stadium history

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Stadium Corporation approves what they call the most significant reinvestment in Finley Stadium’s history.

However, you won’t see the changes on the field.

Instead, the board approved a replacement for the Stadium Club.

They will renovate the club, which will include a new interior, entrance, bar and lounge areas.

They are also promising an improved menu by an in-house chef, plus a new video wall.

It will be called the Ultra Club, since Michelob Ultra won the naming rights.

The Ultra Club will be available for private and corporate events for up to 250 guests.

The Stadium Corporation believes the new club will host up to 75 events a year.

Construction begins in late spring.

“The Ultra Club adds a third venue to our campus and opens up a whole new category of uses year-round at our campus for the Chattanooga community,” said Brian Wright, Executive Director of Finley Stadium. “This premium club experience will be on-par with some of the top arenas and stadiums in the country and we’re excited for guests to experience it.”

The board also approved several other upgrades behind the scenes.

They include a new elevator, hydraulic pumps and several interior operation systems.

The stadium is also buying a new field paint remover to speed up the transition from football games to soccer events.
