Chattanooga Police investigating after person stabbed in neck

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A person is in the hospital after being stabbed on Tuesday, according to the Chattanooga Police Department.

Officers responded to a call of a stabbing just before midnight Tuesday.

They found the victim at 1200 Poplar Street. This is right next to the Ridgeway Apartments and the Westside Community Center.

The victim had been stabbed in the neck. However, CPD said the injury was not life-threatening. First responders did take the victim to a local hospital.

Police are still investigating this incident.

So far, they have not identified any suspects or made any arrests.
