Person goes to hospital after being shot in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Police are investigating after receiving a call of a shooting on Tuesday night.

They responded to 316 West 40th Street around 10:40 p.m. But when they arrived, there were no signs of a shooting.

However, not long after, a man went to a local hospital with gunshot wounds. According to police, this man’s injury was not life-threatening.

The Chattanooga Police Department stated they are still investigating this incident.

At this point, they have not made any arrests. They also do not have any suspect information yet.
