We reached out to the Chattanooga Airport, who tells us "a private aircraft arriving in Chattanooga had a landing gear issue, but landed safely."
We also reached out to the Federal Aviation Administration.
A spokesperson for the FAA tells us that around 7:30 p.m. the nose gear of a Hawker 800 jet collapsed after the plane landed at the airport.
Two people were on board and the FAA says they are investigating the incident.
We are waiting to hear back from the Chattanooga Airport on when the runway will be back open.
