Dad shaves head for daughter fighting cancer in powerful act of love
Matt PreisThere's nothing as pure as a parent's love. And a father in Chattanooga, Tennessee, proved as much with a touching gesture in support of his daughter.
D'Andray Thomas had been growing his dreadlocks for nine years but decided to shave them off in sympathy with his daughter, Brielle, who had to shave her head while being treated for stage 4 cancer. Using his daughter's nickname, Thomas also launched the BriBri Strong campaign, creating T-shirts and bracelets to raise funds and awareness for Brielle's cause.
