You could say the kids in this photo gallery show a lot of 'pluck.'

Our viewing area has a lot of chickens... AND a lot of kids who love and take care of them.

We discovered that fact this week almost by fluke, when viewer Cassandra Stallard of Hixon shared 2 adorable photos of her son Zachary hugging a chicken to our Chime In page.

We of course had to share these shots with the world, and asked viewers if they had hugged their chicken today.

Viewers answered, and then some! You could've knocked us over with a feather.

Our Chime In page received more than 2 dozen eggs-tra special photos from around our viewing area showing their kids and their cluckers.
