At least two injured following McCallie Ave shooting

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Police say a shooting happened Thursday evening, leaving at least two injured.

It happened just before 6:30 p.m. at 2010 McCallie Avenue. This location is a Dollar General store.

Chattanooga Police found a male teenager suffering from an injury that was not life-threatening. First responders then transported him to the hospital.

Another teen also showed up to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

CPD said a group of teens were walking into a business when a dark vehicle pulled up. Those in that vehicle then began shooting in the teenagers’ direction, the police were told.

The investigation is ongoing.

No arrests have been made yet. CPD said they do not have suspect information available at this time.
