MAC says a Good Samaritan found him wandering around in the Washington Hills neighborhood near Highway 58.
They say he had no ID tags or collar and is not microchipped.
MAC says the pup has a cast on his left front leg ,"showing us that someone out there loves and cares for him and he may have been seen by a local vet recently."
MAC says his name at the shelter is Brutus, and they suspect that he is around 2 years old.
MAC says...
"Since coming into MAC yesterday, Brutus has unfortunately not enjoyed his time with us. He is very fearful of unfamiliar humans and does not want to be handled. He did tolerate his intake exam and vaccines, but beyond that has really tried to keep to himself. We're confident that he wants nothing more than to return to the family that loves him, so we need your help in finding them."
