EPB outages following storm: UPDATE
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Following this weekend’s powerful storm EPB is continuing to restore power.
As of 9:30p.m., 2,800 customers are still experiencing outages.
EPB has been able to restore power to more than 9,200 other customers since early this morning.
The company deployed 580 utility workers repairing power system throughout today.
Damage to power lines, utility poles and other infrastructure is substantial, so the company expects to continue restoration efforts.
They ask community members to stay away from downed power lines and poles.
