UPDATE (June 7th):
Chattanooga Police confirm a man who was shot and killed in a shootout with troopers in Oklahoma is the man who robbed a Regions Bank in Chattanooga back in March.
Police say 25-year-old Rosendo Enrique Rivero had also robbed a bank in south central Kansas, shortly after he robbed the Regions Bank in Chattanooga.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says troopers spotted Rivero in a silver Chrysler as he crossed the state line.
Troopers chased him, and say Rivero fired shots at them while trying to get away. Troopers returned fire.
Rivera then got out of his car and ran into a nearby field, continuing to fire at troopers. Troopers returned fire and he was killed.
He had $5,000 in stolen cash on him.

EARLIER (March 20th):
Police are searching for a robber who fired several shots inside Regions Bank on Market Street in Chattanooga Monday morning and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was hurt, and Chattanooga Police Chief Celeste Murphy says there currently is 'not any immediate threat to the area.'
Chief Murphy tells us no one was hurt.
Right now there's not an immediate threat to the area, so we are just diligently making sure that we canvass the area through technology,' Chief Murphy told us from the scene. 'Trace the steps of the person, how they got here and where they went.
Later in the afternoon, CPD Assistant Chief Jerri Sutton explained the chief's wording when she said there was not an immediate threat to the area:
Some of you have asked why it has been stated there's no threat to the community. In this instance, related to the bank robbery, we had no indications showing the gunman was still in the area or at large presenting an immediate threat in his attempt to flee. As with any person who has criminal intentions, there is a possibility of victimizing where an opportunity presents itself.
Investigators working this robbery assessed the situation and determined the goal of robbing this bank had been achieved. Given the number of law enforcement in the area responding to the scene and searching the area, there was no observable evidence to support this suspect was an on-going threat to the community.
Market Street was closed for a brief time, but it's back open as of 11:30 a.m.
Hamilton County Criminal Court Clerk Vince Dean confirms that the nearby court building remains on lockdown.
