Brainerd High student faces charges after deputies find Taser on her Friday, sheriff says

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. —
An 18-year-old Brainerd High School student faces several charges after deputies discovered a Taser stun gun on her Friday afternoon, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office (HCSO).

A release says the incident happened shortly after noon with a fight between two female students in a hallway.
HCSO says one of the students, later identified as Taija Hudson, told the girl she was fighting that she had a Taser.
Responding SROs found the Taser on Hudson.
Hudson was non-compliant and resisted arrest throughout the process,' the release says.
Deputies arrested her and took her to the Silverdale Detention Center.

Hudson is charged with carrying a prohibited weapon on school grounds, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
