UPDATE (March 28th):
A Chattanooga woman has been cited in a hit and run involving a bicyclist that happened on McCallie Avenue last Friday, police say.
28-year-ols Raquel Terry was cited by CPD for failure to exercise due care, leaving the scene of an accident, driving on a revoked license, and financial responsibility.
CPD says the bicyclist's injuries were not as serious as they originally thought.
EARLIER (March 17th):
Chattanooga Police are on the hunt for a driver who struck a bicyclist on McCallie Avenue in the early morning hours Friday.
The incident happened at 1032 McCallie Avenue at about 3 a.m.
Officers found the 55-year-old bicyclist lying in the street.
An ambulance rushed him to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Right now, investigators are still trying to determine who hit the victim.
