Following a strong showing this weekend in a three-game sweep over Florida State, Virginia has moved up three spots to No. 5 in the latest D1Baseball Top 25 rankings, entering the top five for the first time this season. 

The Cavaliers have won each of their first three ACC series, are currently on a five-game winning streak, and have matched their best start in program history at 22-2 overall.

Virginia is also ranked No. 5 by Baseball America (up from No. 7), No. 3 by the Collegiate Baseball newspaper (up from No. 5), and No. 6 by Perfect Game (up from No. 9). 

No. 5 Virginia (22-2, 7-2 ACC) hosts Old Dominion on Tuesday at 5pm at Disharoon Park before heading down to Blacksburg for a three-game series at Virginia Tech this weekend.
