Missing 85-year-old woman found safe

The woman, who had gone missing near the Mecklenburg and Union county line, was found safe.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An 85-year-old woman who had gone missing in south Charlotte Monday was found safe, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department announced.

The woman had been last seen around 7 a.m. on Rea Road near the dividing line between Waxhaw and Charlotte.
