A Charlestown man is celebrating a massive catch from the Connecticut River. Derek Dromgoole, 23, said he caught a massive catfish at the Charlestown boat launch Tuesday. Dromgoole took it to New Hampshire Fish and Game in Concord Wednesday, where he said the fish was just short of beating the record from last year. The avid fisherman said he's never seen a fish this big in the area. Dromgoole said this catch was his biggest and personal best freshwater fish.
