CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Kanawha County residents can look forward to a day of Easter-themed fun next weekend at the Magic Island Easter Egg Hunt.
The event, sponsored by the City of Charleston Parks & Recreation and Kanawha, County Parks & Recreation Commission, along with WOBE 97.5 and Electric 102.7 FM, is set to take place on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Magic Island Park located at 101 Kanawha Boulevard W in Charleston.
Some features of the family friendly event will include live magic, games, inflatables, and face painting.
Along with an appearance from the Easter Bunny and Holly’s Little Express Train, guests will experience the thrill of hunting a reported 17,000 eggs during the namesake egg hunt.
From 11:00am to 12:00 noon sensory friendly activities will take place and will be open to children of all ages.
The egg hunt – open to children ages 10 and under – will begin at 12:00 noon and will continue until 3:00pm.
