Hamilton County Deputies requested a K9 for a traffic stop on the I-24. K9 Maxim was deployed and alerted officers to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of 4 grams of Meth, 5 grams of Fentanyl powder, 23 Fentanyl pills, and drug paraphernalia.

Lee University announced Audrey Dutton as the winner of the 2024 F.J. Lee Award. Ms. Dutton was recognized for this honor during a special chapel service. This annual award was established in 1968 in honor of the second president of Lee University. It is presented to the Lee senior with the overall most outstanding record of student achievement.
