CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) —
Tributes have been pouring in for late Charleston Police Chief Luther Reynolds since his passing last week.

On Friday, CPD put out a video titled "Charleston salutes Police Chief Luther Reynolds."
The video shows hundreds of officers saluting Chief Reynolds as he is escorted from West Ashley to a celebration of life ceremony in Mount Pleasant.
As we say our final goodbyes to Chief Reynolds, we reflect on his immeasurable contributions and the profound impact he made on our lives," the department wrote in the description of the video. "In his honor, please join us in paying tribute to a remarkable leader who will be deeply missed.

Reynolds passed away on Monday, May 22 following a battle with cancer. He was 56 years old.
