Officers from the Charles County Sheriff's Office were called to the scene of a shooting that took place inside an apartment in the 4100 block of Falcon Place in Waldorf early on Tuesday, March 28, a spokesperson for the department stated.
According to the sheriff's office, one adult man was rushed to a hospital with what are being described as "serious injuries," though the situation appears to be isolated, they said.
The incident remains under investigation. No other details were released by the sheriff's office.
