Judge shuts down plea deal in 2021 drunk driver crash that killed Duke employee
The family of a Duke employee killed by a speeding drunk driver in 2021 will have to wait even longer for justice. The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office identified and charged a suspect in connection to the break-in of a Chapel Hill residence in May. A release from the sheriff’s office on Wednesday said a residence in the Chapel Hill-zoned part of the county was broken into on May 25.
