YOUNGSTOWN — Alfred Charles Foerster III, 66, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, June 12, 2021, while surrounded by his loving family. Chuck was born Feb. 24, 1955, to Alfred Charles Foerster Jr. and Carol Jean Shugart Foerster in Youngstown. He was raised by his father and mom, Judy Foerster. He was a Struthers High School graduate and extended his studies at Youngstown State University. Chuck served in the Navy aboard the U.S.S. Milwaukee AOR-2 as a cook.

The Salem Area Chamber of Commerce’s Beautification’s Committee members Linda Grubb and Carolyn Jones awarded downtown business Reach for the Stars, 440 E. State St., as winner of Best Window Display for the Salem Super Cruise. Students from the Transition Classroom assembled all the classic cars.
