The Yolo Food Bank (YFB) Board misrepresented the truth to the community when their spokesman said the Board did not delay the May 25, 2022, election of new board members. FOX40 reporter Sonseeahray Tonsall asked Gene Endicott if it were true that “there were not enough board members to constitute a quorum and carry on board business and then board elections were delayed.” Mr. Endicott responded, “No, that is not true.”

Stay Alive by Staying Up to Date with COVID-19 Booster Shots

(Woodland, CA) – Yolo County recently recorded four COVID-19 deaths among older adults who had not received all COVID boosters for which they were eligible. Of the seven COVID-19 deaths in Yolo County residents during July, all were in adults 70 and older. Only one of the seven was up to date with COVID booster shots. Being up to date with boosters may have prevented these tragic deaths.
