NXT Star Makes Official WWE SmackDown Debut With a new Name

After a few matches, General Manager Adam Pearce appeared on the screen and was soon joined by a familiar face if you have previously watched WWE NXT. That was none other than LA Knight, but Knight was sporting a new clean-cut look and a new character since we lost saw him on NXT 2.0, and that came with a new name as well. He introduced himself to Pearce as Max Dupri (emphasis on the i), CEO of Maximum Male Models. Pearce had no idea who he was and wasn't too receptive to him immediately, but then Dupri informed him of some key information.

New details are being revealed on what led to Harland’s (Parker Boudreaux) WWE NXT release. Harland was released in late April along with other NXT talents, and the reason given was budget cuts. It was noted then how Harland’s in-ring work was not progressing like some of the NXT officials wanted to see. It was then revealed this past week how WWE Hall of Famer Edge wanted to bring Harland into The Judgment Day stable on RAW.

Tony manages to stop a suicide dive even before Santos leaves the ring. The Italian-American is in full control of the dispute and also demonstrates it with a haughty attitude.

We’re on to the next two hundred episodes after last week’s big milestone show. That means things will likely take a step off the gas this week and I’m not sure what that is going to include.
