As a result, winds are expected to increase by mid-morning topping out with wind gusts from 30 to 35 mph. Look for this area to diminish by this afternoon before another round moves in late this evening. An additional tenth to a quarter of an inch is possible. No severe weather is expected at this time. As the trough that brought widespread showers moves eastward, strong northwestly winds will develop Sunday and Monday. Peaking at around 35 mph Sunday evening. The strong northwestly winds will filter in cooler air to the region with lows in the low 30s Monday and Tuesday.
