NJ weather: Heat surges, then humidity, then thunderstorms

Wow, the last day of June. On Friday, we dive into July — on average, the hottest and wettest month of the year. We are also approaching the big 4th of July holiday weekend forecast, of course. And we're working hard to zero in on when it will rain and (more importantly) when it won't. Saturday still poses the most problems of the weekend, although it won't be a total washout or total loss.

Prosecutor: Three From Middle Twp., NJ, Facing Drug Charges

Authorities in Cape May County say three people, all from the Rio Grande section of Middle Township, have been arrested and are facing drug-related charges. According to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland's office, an investigation into the distribution of heroin and cocaine throughout the county lead to search warrant being executed at the home of 42-year-old Joel Quintana-Medina on North 5th Street in Rio Grande.

Prosecutor: Clementon, NJ, Man Arrested for Fatal Shooting at Maple Shade Apartment Complex

Authorities in Burlington County say a Clementon man has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting at an apartment complex earlier this year. Burlington County Acting Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw says 22-year-old Teon Macklin-Goodwine has been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, and related weapon offenses in connection to the death of Ezekiel Sanders, Jr.
