Woman Killed By Comfort Animal At Cultivate Care Farms In Bolton

BOLTON (CBS) – A comfort animal is believed to have killed a volunteer at a farm in Bolton. Bolton Police said there was an incident Saturday morning involving a 73-year-old woman who was rushed to the hospital from Cultivate Care Farms. The woman did not survive. Cultivate Care focuses on animal therapy. It described the livestock involved as a comfort animal. Local and Massachusetts State Police are investigating the woman’s death.

State police identify driver killed in wrong-way crash in Uxbridge

UXBRIDGE, Mass. — A 35-year-old man is dead following a wrong-way motor vehicle accident that happened on Route 146 in Uxbridge Saturday night. The Massachusetts State Police told Boston 25 News troopers from the MSP-Millbury barracks were first alerted to the crash at approximately 9:40 p.m. Saturday. After arriving at the scene, troopers found two vehicles that collided.

Rhode Island Man Killed In Fiery Wrong-Way Uxbridge Crash

UXBRIDGE (CBS) – Two vehicles were engulfed in flames when a wrong-way driver caused a fatal crash on Route 146 in Uxbridge. It happened Saturday night just before 10 p.m. Massachusetts State Police said 35-year-old Jonathan Marmol of Rhode Island was driving south in a 2004 Honda Accord when he crossed the median onto the northbound side of the highway. Marmol slammed into a 2018 Subaru Outback, causing both cars to burst into flames. Police said Marmol was declared dead at the scene. A 62-year-old West Boylston man was treated for minor injuries. The northbound side of the road was closed for about three hours. State Police are investigating why Marmol crossed the median before the fatal crash.
