Zella Jo Thode, 8, of Hutchinson, passed away in the embrace of her parents Thursday, Sept. 16, at Hutchinson Health. Celebration of life "Zellabration" was Wednesday, Sept. 22, at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. The Rev. Dave Wollan officiated. Eulogist was Stacey Schumann. Musicians were Kristen Matthews and Austin Willhite. Special music was "My Lighthouse" by Rend Collective, "'Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus" by Casting Crowns, and "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" by Isreal Kamakawiwo'ole.

Boyd Alan Beccue, 73, of Monticello, MN passed away peacefully on September 11, 2021, with his family by his side and his wife holding his hand. He was preceded in death by parents Gale B. Beccue and Shirley (Anderson) Beccue of Blackduck, MN, and his beloved cousin, David H. Wood. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jane Dircks; sister Karen (Richard) Fox; daughters Candace (John) Randle, Courtney (Todd) Bouman, and Hillary (Cullan) Luther; son Judson (Kayla) Beccue; and grandchildren Aivary and Aidan Bouman, Ryann and Jonathan Randle, Sawyer, Asher and Ryker Beccue, and Wyn Luther with another granddaughter on the way.

Richard Mouneu Charged With Robbery After Allegedly Threatening Walmart Employee, Taking Cash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A Hutchinson man is charged with robbery after allegedly threatening a Walmart employee in West St. Paul and taking money from a cash register. Thirty-nine-year-old Richard Mouneu was arrested near the store Monday shortly after the incident. Richard Mouneu (credit: Dakota County) According to a criminal complaint, a man matching Mouneu’s description feigned purchasing a CD, and when the employee scanned it, he told her to “open the register or he would hurt her.” The employee told investigators the man then reached for his waistband, making her think he had a weapon. She opened the register and fled immediately. The man took money from the drawer and left the store. Officers took Mouneu into custody, and the employee identified him as the suspect. Members of the Maple Lake High School Class of 1971 celebrated their 50-year reunion on Friday Sept. 17 with socializing, games, a dinner, and a special guest, former MLHS band director Joe Thomas. The reminiscing continued Saturday, Sept. 18 with a tour of the current high school. The Class of 1971 was the first freshman class to attend the new high school which opened in 1967. Elsa Segura Found Guilty On All Counts In Killing Of Monique Baugh

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A Fridley woman has been found guilty in the the 2019 New Year’s Eve murder and kidnapping of real estate agent Monique Baugh and the attempted murder of Baugh’s boyfriend. A jury found 29-year-old Elsa Segura guilty of aiding and abetting premeditated first-degree murder, aiding and abetting kidnapping and aiding and abetting first-degree murder while committing kidnapping, according to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office.
