Thursday night, Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Harding Avenue and East Broadway Boulevard for a public service incident. Arnold S. Daniel explained that a female had threatened to harm herself and then left the area. Officers searched the area and were unable to locate the female. The female has been identified.

B-2 stealth bomber out of service after emergency landing

KNOB NOSTER, Mo. (AP) — The U.S. Air Force is investigating after a B-2 stealth bomber made an emergency landing at Whiteman Air Force base earlier this week. The bomber had an in-flight malfunction during a routine training mission early Tuesday, according to a spokesperson for the Air Force Global Strike Public Affairs unit.

Man accused of terrorist threat at Sedalia school

SEDALIA, MO – Police in Sedalia responded to reports of a suspicious, potentially armed person at Smith Cotton Junior High School. Thursday, school security officers evacuated the building as a precautionary measure. Police say in a press release, they took one person into custody after an investigation. Sedalia resident, Michael Moore, 42, was accused of trespassing and making a terrorist threat. Police determined a firearm was not used during the incident.

A 30-year-old Green Ridge man charged with multiple felonies following the execution of several search warrants nearly a year and a half ago is due in court this week. According to a report from the Sedalia Police Department, on April 16, 2020, officers conducted a traffic stop of a suspect related to an ongoing drug investigation, and Samuel David Woolery II was taken into custody. Authorities from multiple law-enforcement agencies served five search warrants at residences in Sedalia and Green Ridge, two storage units in Sedalia and the suspect’s vehicle nearly simultaneously and say they located numerous drug-related items and a weapon.
