Warren police investigating after toddler found wandering neighborhood

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Warren police and Trumbull County Children Services are investigating after a toddler was found wandering a neighborhood alone dressed only in his underwear. According to a police report, officers were called about 12 p.m. Thursday to Penn Avenue NW after witnesses found the 3-year-old boy alone.

Two businesses in the Valley have grabbed top ten spots on the Ohio Farm Bureau’s annual Ice Cream Battle. Cockeye Creamery on Parkman Road in Warren placed fifth, and Youngstown-based Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream placed 7th on the informal Facebook poll of best ice cream conducted yearly by the poll.

Massillon Museum to host virtual wine tasting

The Massillon Museum will host a virtual wine tasting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 26 for museum members. Wanda Haynes, a Northeast Ohio wine educator and socialite, will host the event. Participants will receive a wine package with three different 750-millilitre bottles. Wines to be tasted include a Ferraton rosé, a Cooper Mountain pinot noir, and a New Zealand sauvignon Blanc.
