Fire trucks, police cars, tractors, back hoes, tow trucks, and more! “No Horn Hour” will be from 5 pm-6 pm for the little ones! Music, games and fun will also be available at this free family event. Food will also be available.

National Park Service asks for public input on deadly Natchez Trace Bridge

(Mike Osborne) — The National Park Service may finally be ready to add fencing to the Natchez Trace Bridge that’s been the scene of dozens of suicides. The double arch span over State Route 96 in Williamson County is a gorgeous structure with a dark history. The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says at least 34 people have jumped to their deaths from the bridge since it was completed in 1994.

Baseball: GCA storms into Final Four

FRANKLIN – For the second time in Grace Christian Academy’s young history, the baseball team will play in the Division II-A Final Four. The Lions blasted First Assembly Christian 19-2 in the first game of three-game series Wednesday at Clyde Pewitt Field near Leiper’s Fork. They earned the state tournament berth with a 10-2 win in the second game. The Lions last state berth came in 2019 when they went 2-2 in the double-elimination tournament.

Summer Tribute Series to feature 3 talented tribute bands

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department has announced the 2022 Summer Tribute Series lineup at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center. This series will feature performers that celebrate and pay homage to the music of a particular artist or group. Three concerts have been scheduled for June starting with Sail On: The Beach Boys Tribute on June 5. June 12 will feature End of the Line: Allman Brothers Tribute, and Sweet Baby James: James Taylor Tribute will be on June 19.
