Thieves Use Stolen Vehicle from Oceanside for Smash and Grab Robbery in Escondido

Escondido CA— Early this morning, January 26, at 1:38 a.m., two burglary suspects used a vehicle to ram into the “Jewelry and Repair Center” located 343 W. Mission Avenue in Escondido. The vehicle used was a white Volkswagen SUV and is believed to be a stolen vehicle out of Oceanside two days prior. One suspect used an axe to break into display cases and stole jewelry and cash.
