DELMARVA – The Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a woman who is wanted in multiple counties across the Eastern Shore. 27-year-old Brittany Stokes is wanted out of Queen Anne’s, Caroline, and Wicomico Counties in Maryland, as well as the state of Delaware. She is currently wanted on the following charges:

Wicomico Co. Sheriff’s Office charges 15-year-old Parkside student for viral video threat

SALISBURY, Md. – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Willards teen in connection to a threatening video posted to social media earlier this month. The video was brought to the attention of a school resource officer at Parkside High School on June 14th. The video, which went viral, showed a male holding what appeared to be a rifle while making inappropriate and insensitive threats, including, “Shoot n-word for fun, you hear me?”

Racoon tests positive for rabies in Wicomico Co.

SALISBURY, Md. – The Wicomico County Health Department has announced that a raccoon recently tested positive for rabies in the county. We’re told the raccoon was in the area of Montrose Drive and Johnson Road. Residents are advised to be aware of their surroundings and avoid contact with all wild or stray animals.

The organizations are hosting Step Into Summer which is a 1-mile walk tomorrow at the Fruitland Recreational Park at 12 pm. Officials tell 47 ABC that walking has many benefits, including reducing health concerns like type 2 diabetes, stroke, and heart disease, and helps to support mental health by lifting your mood and reducing anxiety. High gas prices impacting school budgets

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md.- Gas prices may be hurting many of us right now, but we’re not the only ones. It’s also affecting the Wicomico County Public School District budget. We’re told they evaluate fuel prices by annual basis for their school bus contractors, as well as for their own County operation. They also plan their budget about 10 months to a year in advance, so we’re told it’s hard to predict how the prices will have an impact. But right now, they said they’re having to absorb the high costs even though it hurts a little.

Police investigating burglary, theft of four-wheeler in Wicomico Co.

SALISBURY, Md. – Police are continuing to investigate a burglary and theft incident in the Salisbury area. The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation into a burglary that took place at a storage unit in the 300 block of Moss Hill Lane during the early morning hours of May 31st. It was determined that 23-year-old Michael Quillen and another unknown male entered the gated storage facility, broke into the storage unit, and stole a blue 2021 Yamaha YFZ 450 four-wheeler.
